You can walk to Hagestein, cycle to the Voorstraat in Vianen in 10 to 15 minutes or take the car to enjoy the lively heart of Utrecht 20 minutes later.
Accessibility
Hoef en Haag is centrally located in the Netherlands, close to the A2 and A27 motorways. If you want to travel to Vianen by public transport, it is best to take the bus. Vianen does not have its own train station, but it is still easily accessible. You take the bus to the CS in Utrecht and from there you take the train. With one hour you are in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Breda or Den Bosch. The bus station is located on both sides of the A2 motorway.
Recreation
The youngest village on the river Lek offers many recreational possibilities. Walking, cycling, horse riding, swimming at the recreational lake Everstein and sailing through the river landscape. All this is possible in Hoef and Haag. Here, even an ordinary weekday feels a little like a weekend.
Schools
Almost every district in Vianen has a primary school. In total, there are no less than 11 primary schools in the municipality. There is also a secondary school. So you have it to choose from.
Shops
